About Me
Hi, my name is Abbi. I created Abbi’s Mobile Village because I know what it’s like first-hand to navigate parenthood without much support.
I am BLS Certified through the American Heart Association (CPR and AED).
I went through pregnancy, postpartum, and early parenthood without a built-in village, no nearby family and no established community support. My husband and I navigated those seasons together, often carrying more than we were meant to hold on our own.
Like many families, we found ourselves overwhelmed. The daily schedules, the mental load, the upkeep of a home, without much space to rest or reset. The need for support has not ended after the early days, it has simply shifted as life with a growing child continues.
What I needed then, and still value now, was not advice, judgment, or perfection. I needed calm, practical support.
I needed help… and that’s okay.
How I Work
When I come into someone’s home, I bring that understanding with me.
I move slowly and intentionally. I will not rush or judge, and I do not expect you to explain or perform. I pay attention to how spaces, people, and animals are feeling, not just what needs to be done.
My goal is not to fix everything, but to help things feel more regulated.
Most of all, to offer relief where I can, reset the home without judgement, and support the regulation of the parents, children, and pets during seasons that are genuinely demanding.
This work is personal to me, and I approach it with care, clear boundaries, and deep respect for how vulnerable it can feel to invite someone into your home.
